There is something about references and inspiration that gets ahold of me.
I would reckon inspirations and references is something that is one of the same, yet at the same time they are different.
I’d like to think of a reference like an artist painting an artwork. They would use maybe the structure of the character, or an example of a scenery and then they would add their own pizzazz into it that both gives consideration to the concept they are conveying while also showing the artist’s style.
But I just wonder, what are your thoughts about Inspirations in stories? Would you share this sentiment I have wrote, or do you have a different view on it. Whatever it is, feel free to share!
