The ways the mind expands as you learn new things.

There is something about exploring around the place that is rather exciting and interesting. It has been about a month since I have left the usual life, and nearly a month until I come back to the life that I have possess where friends and family are on the other side of the world, but also to a life where it may be a bit dreary, a bit hard, but also makes coming around more worth while.

I will also admit, there is something about the life that makes me not do the things that I usually do. Like splurging myself in terms of food and not really exercising as much as I usually do, because of the usual possession of one key and also hanging out with my dad more often than not. But also the items are a lot too. Like there was a store in France that was really cool! Like it is Costco, yet the shop is more comprehensive in terms of the range of items there are and the amount of food and SALES there are.

I went wild with the undergarments and their sales, but I also tried juice, some french pastries and… Let’s say my dad wasn’t expecting that reaction from me in terms of food. But I am also now holding a whole bunch of cookies as well, because I wanted to give some cookies to my aunty, but she said no and wanted me to have it before getting even more food for me. So that was rather interesting for me to hear, and I guess I am going to not buy anything from England and just… Go about and just live off whatever we have.

That is not the only thing that has surprised me, but I guess going to places like Switzerland, Zürich for their awfully expensive yet unexpectedly tasty food to Germany’s many interesting sights to see, it’s something that is rather cool to witness, with the way that each place that you visit is built differently from the one next to it.

I am actually writing this as I am taking the high speed train to Britian, and I have to say: As you go through each place, they have a different… Feel to it. For example, when you go through the parts of France that is at the border of Switzerland going towards other countries, it seems like the places are more relaxed and cozied up. Meanwhile the main city Paris has this artistry, almost neoclassical feel to it. Now how does this relate to England, well…
At least the outerskrits, when you come from Paris to England, it seems highly industrial, but for a place that gets the reputation for being gloomy, there’s quite a bit of sunlight rousing through the grey foreboding clouds.
But I will say: as I have been exploring this place that it has been really interesting to see a parallel to the place that I have lived in for most of my life. Some things makes England better, while others makes it seem like the place in Australia is more suited to live in.
Like there are some things that are interesting to note too, Most people state when they think about England, Ireland and those sorts of countries is that you are on the wrong side of the road, or at least, the world works backwards in terms of driving and those sorts of things. However, as someone who is used to those customs, it is something that makes it almost as if everyone has it the wrong way, although I am merely just used to – if you are standing on the left path, the fact of seeing the road in going away from you on the left and going towards you from the right (However way that you put it) , not in the way that most are used to. So it is really something that I am going about and cherishing just for that little while.

To learn, to get tired and to grow from this. And even when it is hard… All I can do is try my best. Because really, that is the best that I can do.
