It is getting to that time where I am preparing myself for travel, and I have to say. To have a bit of a prep in the forms of gaining the experience to travel around and seeing at how it would unfold over time was a big one for me.
I did a practice for one of those travels interstate last week, and I have to say… It was quite the experience.

To find myself in the experience of train travels, while seeing sea sides and landscapes that protrudes within the distance. It was all such a sight to see, and something that had made it quite a joy to discover, see and remember, even if most of it was by the station.
There was one station that I had come out of, and I would have to say, it is such a sight to see plentiful of pelicans waiting for their meal and to see them try to race and see which would eat it all the quickest. It was such a joy to witness them all trying to feed on a filleted fish and see which one’s able to eat the most food, and… I guess you wouldn’t expect that out of five pelicans and a flock of seagulls.
But suffice to say, the suburb that I visited in seemed rather small. Except for the fact that I could have waited for the ferry, but I had decided to look further into the areas I wouldn’t think of looking into. There was the question of: How would younger kids be able to learn, and I did end up finding a school from it.
Yet the thing that I have noticed is that after a while, I had this burning curiosity. A feeling almost as if I wanted to explore somewhere else. So I had decided, out of interest to go in the train and travel further up. Go and see what else is past the train tracks and… It was beautiful and quite amazing. To find myself with the train going on top of water. The only piece of land was the train tracks, and the water that is going around had boats parked around the river and this sense of amazement that comes into view. Like, who would anticipate that there would be train tracks over a body of water? I certainly wouldn’t. But regardless, it was a cool sight to see.
And I ended up looking at some really cool places, where it’s not just nature, but to also see new places and how alot of the places had some form of rural feel into it, in the form of there not being much modern shopping districts and those sorts of thing. But When I had ended up getting to the main destination, It looked as if the place wasn’t the most modern, but it was more modern than other places. So to be able to stand outside the train for a couple of minutes while absorbing the view and to see the town that was there. It was tempting to go up further, and it was a quicker way to get up there. However at the same time, I would say that it is the better option to return back home.
I would say that where I live, people would say that the train systems can be pretty appaling, where late trains are bound to happen, and that it can sometimes takes hours longer to get to your destination. Which when dark is ticking by nearer by the minute, it isn’t the best thing that you would want to have happened to you. In this case, I had to travel a few stations out by foot just to get to the line where I could get home easier. But even then, the next train wouldn’t come for another thirty three, and that is if it would come. The train was already eighty-eight minutes late. So I had decided, that I would take the bus, and that although it would take longer, I knew I was going to get home at an earlier time, even if it was a few minutes later than you would want it to be.
And I would say after a couple of long hours of sitting around, letting the sun set to a close within the bus, and for the fact that there were friendly people to sit and talk to, I ended up getting out of the bus, and finding myself near the depths of home. The travel back with the delays was about three and a half, close to four hours of travel. So to say the least, it was quite the trip, even if it is delayed. But even then, I would think that it would have taught me a few lessons when it comes to travelling alone, especially on the plane, which more or less could have similar issues.
So all I can hop from this is that even though there is a chance that there could be plane, bus or train delays, I know that I would have to take that as an opportunity to get better at mitigating through those issues, and to try to not let it get me stressed out. Because as there is a first to everything, I would need to take the time to explore the wonderous views, soak the different environment in, and just see the cultures that each day brings with exploring a new country.
